THEY’RE taking a walk on the wild side as they prepare for their latest production.

Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers will take part in the show Dr Dolittle, staged at St Swithun’s School in Winchester on April 10-12, with backstage support from the Chesil Theatre.

Several of the animal cast members had a photo shoot at Marwell Wildlife and, dressed in character from frogs to leopards, were even joined by their very own Dr Dolittle.

Jo Ashwell, leader of 1st Kings Worthy Guides and Downs Rangers, is producing the show, and said everyone is really looking forward to it.

“We picked the play because it has some really lovely songs in it, and it is a good one for just girls,” she said.

“It’s really nice to see it come together and to see the costumes which are a bit more complicated than usual ones.

“It is only a few weeks away now. Everybody is really looking forward to it.”
