A MAN was left with serious facial injuries after being attacked in Southampton city centre.
The 20-year-old victim was with friends in Above Bar Street when he was he was hit by a man he didn't know, leaving him with injuries to his mouth and ear.
He was then taken to Southampton General Hospital for treatment.
Officers are now keen to trace a blonde haired woman, in her early twenties and wearing a red jacket, who may have witnessed the attack.
Police have also questioned a 22-year-old man in connection with the assault that happened around 12.15am on March 3 and he has been bailed until April 28.
