A PRIVATE Hampshire hospital is celebrating the completion of a multimillion pound refurbishment.
The Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital in Chandler’s Ford has undergone an £8m revamp which has included the upgrading of patient bedrooms, the creation of a new reception area and the installation of state-of-theart scanners.
The hospital, which has been carrying out the work for the last 18 months, also now boasts an integrated digital operating theatre to provide top quality facilities for keyhole surgery.
Winchester and Chandler’s Ford MP Steve Brine, who attended the official unveiling of the new-look hospital, said: “The facilities here now are a tremendous resource for local GPs and commissioners.
“For me as a local MP, this is welcome investment in the local health economy and many NHS patients also benefit from this hospital which is great.”
