A HAMPSHIRE theatre will go under the blue spotlight this week to raise awareness for autism.
The Mayflower theatre in Southampton will be lit up blue to mark World Autism Day on Wednesday, when landmarks across the globe will be turning blue to shine a light on the condition.
Autism Hampshire is urging residents to do their bit for the Light It Up Blue campaign by hosting a blue themed party, a blue cup cake sale or a wear blue to work day to help raise vital funds for the charity.
There are an estimated 16,000 people living in Hampshire with autism and around 7,000 of those are children.
To get involved call Hannah Godfrey on 01489 880881.
