EIGHT jobs have been created by a coffee shop giant’s latest Hampshire branch.
Visitors to the new Costa coffee shop at the Fryern Arcade in Chandler’s Ford were greeted by a jazz band while Mayor of Eastleigh Cllr Malcolm Cross, pictured back second from left, cut the ribbon.
Sebastian Szczypior, who has been working in the franchise’s Lyndhurst venue, will manage the shop.
Cllr Cross said: “The new Costa will not only create new jobs but also provide another great reason for local people to visit this popular shopping location.” Matt Coulthard, operations manager for Costa said the store had already beaten its initial sales target.
