NURSES across Hampshire have been celebrated for their work ensuring children and families stay safe and healthy.
Community nursery nurses were honoured at a conference where they shared success stories, ideas on best practice and how to improve their skills.
It was organised by Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust and also included training to keep up to date on new problems parents may encounter.
Nurses Sarah Remnant said: “The conference provided us with a golden opportunity for us to share our good practice, network with our colleagues and build on our skills.”
Community nursery nurses work alongside health visitors, school nurses and services and are trained to work with children on sleep, behaviour, toileting and feeding issues.
