More than 500 runners – including Saints legend Francis Benali – slopped, splashed and stumbled their way to a filthy finish line at a Hampshire fun run.
The normally pristine woodland at Fairthorne Manor in Curdridge, Botley, was transformed into a mud bath this weekend for the Fuddy Mud Sucker Fun Run.
Participants tackled a 9km or a shorter 4.5km course featuring mud bunkers, tyre fields, hay bale slides, skip dip and the terrifying tunnel of darkness.
It was all held in aid of the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign.
