SOUTHAMPTON soul songstress Charley Macaulay is to support music legend Tom Jones this summer.
The 20-year-old is no stranger to the big stage, having supported the likes of Anastacia, Will Young and Ruby Turner and performed at Glastonbury, Bestival and Isle of Wight festivals.
But the Osborne Summer Concerts date in July will be her biggest show to date and give the former Live and Unsigned winner the chance to showcase tunes from her debut album All I know, which was released late last year.
Charley was due to support the What New Pussycat singer and The Voice judge two years ago, but the show was cancelled when Sir Tom fell ill.
Now he will bring his legendary hits, including It’s Not Unusual, Delilah and Sex Bomb, to the stunning seaside family home of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, near Cowes.
Girl band Little Mix, who were crowned winners of X-Factor in 2011, will also appear at Osborne over the weekend of July 26 and 27.
