CHILDREN at a Winchester school have been learning about the value of guide dogs.
Year 7 students at Perins were treated to a visit from Zoe Legg from Guide Dogs for the Blind and her faithful companion Fizz.
The session formed part of the students’ transformational learning lessons, which aims to improve the pupils’ knowledge on disability.
Ms Legg, who is registered blind, spoke to the children about the importance of classroom accessibility.
Parents and their children donated £130 to the cause.
