HAMPSHIRE firefighters will be taking to the pedals rather than ladders to help support their colleagues.
Eight cyclists will be taking on a 650-mile bike ride in six days, raising money for The Fire Fighters Charity, specifically to fund therapy centres that help them and their families.
They will visit all three therapy centres on their route starting in Penrith on September 28, going via Dorset and ending their journey in Littlehampton.
On their way they will stop overnight at fire stations and will stay at St Mary’s fire station in Southampton on October 3. To donate visit justgiving.com/Paul-Wilkinson21.
