THE FA have confirmed they are monitoring current activities at Hereford United.

Former majority shareholder Tommy Agombar failed their owners' and directors' test and was told by the FA that he could have no further involvement at the club.

Agombar was seen speaking to Bulls manager Jon Taylor and the players following last Saturday's FA Cup defeat against Ellistown & Ibstock United.

He also took penalties prior to Hereford's home game against Burnham last month.

However, as reported by the Hereford Times, Taylor said that Agombar does not have any involvement in team affairs and he is the one that picks the team.

The FA this morning released a short statement to the Hereford Times, which reads: "We continue to monitor the situation, according to our rules and regulations, and are working with the club.”

The FA could not elaborate more at this time, but did confirm that they are monitoring all aspects of their rule book, which include the owners' and directors' test.
