A SOUTHAMPTON building society manager put his best foot forward by joining colleagues to walk along Hadrian’s Wall.
Richard Neal, who is regional manager at Leeds Building Society in Southampton, was one of 14 people who walked 84 miles on the famous wall to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Mr Neal said: “We are very pleased to have successfully completed this challenge, and delighted to have significantly beaten our initial £8,400 fundraising target to raise £15,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust.
“It was hard work but very rewarding, and all in aid of a terrific cause with a great team spirit throughout.”
