A hair salon is to celebrate 25 years of cutting residents’ locks.
Room 8, a therapeutic hair and beauty salon in Locks Heath, is holding a day of entertainment and special offers to mark the milestone and thank the community for its support on October 18 from 10am to 4pm.
Shoppers are invited to enjoy the “hairapy” on offer and visitors will also be offered discounts or special offers on products, as well as free refreshments.
The salon, in Locks Heath Shopping Village, will also welcome local dance group BodyRox, who will be showcasing a number of dance styles.
Originally known as Busy Bodies, the popular salon was taken over by owner Keith Pascoe in 1989.
He later altered the business’s name to Room 8 in honour of its location of Unit 8 at the shopping centre.
