A SOUTHAMPTON restaurant is organising a massive football celebration – but not as we know it.
To welcome the NFL International Series to the UK, Ed’s Easy Diner in West Quay is putting on a range of American football-themed food and activities from today.
Burgers have been named after each of the six teams to compete at Wembley over the next three months – as well as the ‘Bears Pizza Burger’, a double bacon burger sandwiched within two margherita pizzas.
Meanwhile fans have the chance to win a trip to NFL on Regent Street on Saturday, September 27 – a six-hour party featuring appearances by players and cheerleaders.
And there is also an online competition to win two hospitality tickets to one of the three games in London by visiting edseasydiner.com/nfl.
Ed’s Easy Diner is running the special menus until November 9 and decking out the restaurant in team colours ahead of each game – starting with Oakland Raiders versus the Miami Dolphins on September 28.
