Main road shut after serious accident
A BUSY Hampshire main road is shut tonight after a car was in collision with a group of cyclists.
The A337 Lymington Road in Brockenhurst is closed in both directions following the crash.
Three people have been taken to Southampton General Hospital with serious injuries.
Helicopters from both the Hampshire and Isle of Wight and the Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance services were called to the crash shortly after 4.45pm.
One patient suffered severe leg injuries, while another sustained severe upper body wounds in the collision and were both flown to hospital.
A remaining person suffered facial injuries and was taken to the same hospital by road ambulance.
