MORE than 1,000 students at a Southampton school were in the pink – all the in name of charity.
Pupils at Bitterne Park Secondary School ditched their school uniforms in favour of shades of pink as part of the fundraising event in support of Breast Cancer Care.
There were a range of stalls set up to sell breast cancer care badges, loom bands and pink sweets.
It is part of a variety of events in October run by the school to raise £2,000.
When the target is reached members of staff will be taking on the ice bucket challenge in assembly.
