Youth debate
MEMBERS of Andover Town Youth Council got on their soapbox at the Hampshire Youth Conference.
As part of Local Democracy Week 2014, young people aged 11-25 in the county were given an opportunity to learn about regional politics and debate some of the issues that affect them most.
The event, at Ashburton Hall, Elizabeth II Court, Winchester, also included watching one of Hampshire County Council’s committees in action as well as a guided tour around the council’s buildings.
