POLICE have released these CCTV images after a woman's handbag was snatched from a Hampshire supermarket.
Officers have launched an appeal after the 65-year-old woman's bag was taken from her trolly in the Waitrose supermarket in Oakmount Road, Chandlers Ford.
The incident happened at around 1.15pm as she left her trolley unattended for a few seconds as she weighed some apples.
Police want to hear from anyone who cano identify the man pictured in the CCTV image or who recognises the vehicle that appears to be an old style Renault Twingo with a distinctive split sunroof.
Witnesses or anyone with information are asked to contact PC Paul Osborne at Eastleigh police station by phoning 101 or emailing via this link.
