RENTS on Hampshire County Council’s 100 properties are to rise by five per cent next year.
A council report said the increases would be in line with the private rental market which has seen rises of between five per cent and eight per cent.
Nearly half are farms or occupied by members of staff working on them. Some 18 are occupied by children’s services and four are gypsy sites.
County leader Roy Perry will decide whether to go ahead with he rises at his decision day on December 12.
