The boyfriend of one of two teenage girls killed when a car they were travelling in smashed into a wall has tonight spoken of his heartache.
Kane Parnell has thanked friends for their support following the death of his 19-year-old girlfriend Lily Godwin and her friend Abbey Rogers, who was also 19.
The teenagers died when a Mazda RX8, which was being driven by a 21-year-old man, crashed into the wall in Lane, in Gosport Lane, Lyndhurst at about midnight.
Tonight, Kane Parnell, a former Hounsdown School and Eastleigh College student, spoke of his loss.
Writing on his Facebook page, he said: “Absolutely gutted and broken into pieces.
“Just wanna say thank you to everyone for your thoughts and love.”

The driver and another 19-year-old girl who were in the car were taken to Southampton General Hospital.
Police said their injuries were not thought to be life threatening injuries.
All day mourners have been laying flowers and messages at the scene of the accident and posting tributes on social media.
