NO arrests have been made following the double fatal accident in the New Forest that killed teenage friends Abbey Rogers and Lily Godwin.
The youngsters and former Hounsdown pupils were passengers in a Mazda RX-8 being driven by a 21-year-old man when it hit a wall in Lyndhurst, Hampshire, yesterday morning.
Along with a 19-year-old girl and the driver were taken to Southampton General Hospital but their injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Residents described running to the scene on Gosport Lane to help in the early hours of yesterday morning moments after hearing a loud bang.
They found a dark colour Mazda RX8 had collided with a wall on Gosport Lane and one of them contacted Hampshire Constabulary.

Police are this afternoon renewing an appeal for information as they step up an investigation into what caused the death.
They want to hear from anyone who may have seen the car travelling or parked in and around the Lyndhurst area throughout Friday night.
Abbey and Lily’s devastated family are being supported by specialist family liaison officers.
The fresh appeal for witnesses comes after devastated family and friends of teenage friends Lily Godwin and Abbey Rogers have been paying an emotional tribute to the two youngsters.
They were gathering at St Michael and All Angels church in Lynhurst where a prayers were said for the Lily and Abbey.
The formal identification process is ongoing, and post mortem examinations are due to take place to help establish the cause of death.
Witnesses to the collision or anyone with information are asked to contact Hampshire Constabulary’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit at Eastleigh police station by phoning 101 and quoting Operation Marne.
