Barber Affree Constable with colleagues Harry Wallen and John Wiltshire
THERE will be little rest for a Southampton barber over Christmas as he gets his clippers out for a special reason on Boxing Day.
Affree Constable will be giving the homeless community of Southampton a festive makeover by offering free haircuts.
Friends and colleagues of Affree Constable will be helping him give the residents at the Society of St James shelter in London Road a festive trim.
Affree, director of the Affricardo Afro-Caribbean hair salon in Bedford Place, said he wanted to contribute something to the community of Southampton.
He said: “It’s Christmas time and I want these people to know that there are people who care for them and wish them well.”
