A MAIN Hampshire road has reopened after being closed for more than nine hours following a fatal collision.
A 32-year-old cyclist was killed after being involved in the multi-vehicle crash on the A3 southbound near Liphook at about 7.30am this morning.
The man’s next of kin have been informed but formal identification procedures have not yet taken place.
The collision happened just after the Hindhead tunnel on the southbound carriageway and the road was closed from Thursley to Liphook.
Traffic was disrupted and a diversion route was set up around the area.
