A WORKBOAT built in Hampshire has been delivered to a British fish farm.
Meercat Workboats finished building ‘Falls of Lora’ – a steel, 14-metre workboat, in Portchester.
It is the company’s first vessel to be delivered under their new ownership of Burgess Marine.
The workboat has been sent to Dawnfresh Farming where it is being used on Lock Etive for general fish farm maintenance and feeding operations.
New Meercat managing director, Jason Coltman said: “This is the 22nd vessel built by the company and the first under the new ownership. We have delivered the project on time and on budget, underlining our growing role as a leading supplier of small workboats.”
