A SOUTHAMPTON man was further remanded in custody for reports to consider whether he is suitable for a drug rehabilitation order.
Rashpal Sanghera, 30, had admitted burglary in stealing £150 in cash from Coral bookmakers in Manor Farm Road.
Defence barrister David Storry said that Sanghera put his hand over the counter and grabbed the cash from a till.
“He has a lengthy record for offences mainly involving dishonesty through his addiction to class A drugs, and he will carry on appearing in court unless his offending behaviour is addressed,” he said.
Sanghera, of Lingwood Close, Southampton, had his case adjourned until February 23.
