POLICE are hunting this couple who stole almost £200 worth of alcohol from a Hampshire supermarket.
The man and woman were caught on CCTV in Asda, in West End, as they fled the store with eight bottles of gin, whisky and vodka, worth £155.
Officers investigating the theft have released the images in the hope that someone will recognise them and come forward to help police track them down.
The woman walked into the store, on High Street, and pushed around a trolley with a “bag for life” in it.
As she walked around the shop she placed groceries in her trolley, but outside of the bag.
She then went to the alcohol section and placed the eight bottles of spirits into the bag, before pushing the trolley to the front of the store close to the entrance.
A man then came into the shop, spoke to her for a minute and she left the store, leaving the trolley and contents behind.
The man then leant over the fire barrier and picked up the bag containing the alcohol and fled on a bicycle, without making any attempt to pay.
Anyone with information about the theft, which happened on January 15, should contact Hampshire police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
