PLANS to knock down a former restaurant in Southampton and replace it with flats have been approved.
Lainston Colleys LLP’s plans include the demolition of the former Supper Rooms restaurant in High Road, which has been empty for more than three years.
The developer wants to turn the site into a two-storey building, with additional accommodation in the roofspace, to provide 17 self-contained student studio apartments.
City council planners have now given the scheme the green light.
