POLICE have charged three men with attempted murder after a man was stabbed in Hampshire.
The trio were arrested by officers following the incident which happened in woodland in Fareham on Friday night.
The victim was a 46-year-old man who suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. His condition was not thought to be life-threatening.
John Nathaniel Morris, 23, of Bishopsfield Road, Fareham; Ian Hawkin, 46, of Bishopsfield Road, Fareham and Keith Eric Brian Hawkins, 26, from Dalton in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, have all been charged with attempted murder.
They have been remanded into custody and will appear before Magistrates in Portsmouth today.
