Blaze in kitchen of elderly woman's home
AN ELDERLY woman was treated for the effects of smoke inhalation following a fire in her Southampton home.
The blaze happened in the kitchen of a terraced home in Stanley Road, St Denys.
Three fire engines attended, but when they arrived the fire was already out.
They then treated the 80-year-old woman for the effects of smoke inhalation and cleared smoke from her home.
The incident happened on Saturday evening.
