FORMER Southampton footballer Calum Davenport has been arrested by police following a dressing room fracas.
It came after current his side had lost a top of the table clash and he had been sent off.
Police were called to the changing rooms after a team mate suffered a head injury and was taken to hospital by ambulance.
Davenport, 32, also had a flare up with his Elstow Abbey manager Wesley Matthews and had to be pulled apart by other players.
The drama happened after his team had been beaten 4-2 to Cranfield United in a Bedfordshire County league Division One game.
Police have confirmed Davenport has been arrested for assault and bailed.
The player made 12 appearances for Southampton in the 2004/5 season while on loan from Tottenham.
He drifted down the leagues after he was stabbed in the leg by his sister's boy friend in 2009. His assailant was jailed for six years.
A court heard he lost half the blood in his body and he spent two days in intensive care.
