A MOTHER has issued a desperate plea to the public to help find her son and bring him home.
Kieran Smith will have been missing for two weeks tomorrow and with very few confirmed sightings his mother Linda Payne asked residents to think back.
At a press conference in Fareham she said: "We want to thank everyone for their help and support so far and want to reach out to anyone who hasn't seen our appeals to find Kieran.
"Maybe you were in the area and maybe saw someone fitting his description but haven't connected it to Kieran's disappearance.
"We're asking people to think back -do you remember seeing Kieran walking in this area."
Linda and husband Howard Payne, Kieran's stepfather had come down from their home nearby in Harcourt Road to a footpath with fields on either side.
The last definite sighting of Kieran was on this footpath, which goes from the end of Ranvilles Lane, heading in the direction of the Stubbington Ark Animal Shelter.
The 24-year-old left the family home at around midday on March 10.
An extensive police search in the last two weeks has seen searches in a two-and-a-half mile radius of this location, which is a popular spot with dog walkers.
Linda revealed that there had been several possible sightings in the Fareham area on Saturday that were being looked at and told how the family was coping with Kieran's disappearance.
"Everyone's emotions are very high - he's never been away from home like this without us knowing where he is," she said.
"We're all very upset, we can't understand why he hasn't come home."
Police encouraged people to keep reporting any possible sightings of Kieran so they can be looked at and either eliminated or confirmed.
Anyone with information can call police on 101.
