DOZENS of people, including 60 school children were evacuated from a Hampshire museum.
Customers and staff were forced to leave the SeaCity Museum in Southampton at about 12.30pm after the alarm went off.
A spokesman for the city council said it was believed the cause was accidental and was linked to ongoing work to repair the Civic Centre clock tower next door.
The museum has now reopened.
