AN ex-Royal Marine Commando was found dead in his flat in Thailand following a row with his girlfriend and after taking drugs, an inquest heard.
Michael White, who was born in Glasgow but whose parents live in Bitterne, Southampton, moved to Thailand in April last year.
He was found hanged in his apartment in Chon Buri Province on September 23.
The inquest heard that the 27-year-old had argued with his girlfriend Khun Pacharee, 24, before locking himself in the bathroom.

A post-mortem carried out in Thailand showed that Mr White had taken methamphetamine and he was also one-and-a-half times the UK drink-drive limit.
Deputy coroner Simon Burge ruled out “foul play” and returned a verdict of suicide.
