A total of 47 sixth formers from Peter Symonds College in Winchester have received conditional offers to study at the country's two top universities.
Principal Neil Hopkins said: "We do seek to extend our students as individuals and bring out the best that they are capable of.
"The admission staff in the Oxbridge colleges know that the Peter Symonds students will live up to the reference we give them.
"A lot of the credit must also go to the staff of the various schools who sent us these intelligent, hard-working youngsters - this year's group come from 20 different feeder schools."
