A HAMPSHIRE charity is urging schools and businesses to help boost the pot of gold at the end of their rainbow by going colour crazy.
The Rainbow Centre, in Fareham, is holding its annual Rainbow Day on March 16 and wants as many people as possible to delve deep into their wardrobes and dress in their brightest clothes to help raise funds.
Pictured right are Rainbow appeals director Helen Somerset How, left, with the Rainbow team.
Rainbow Day was first launched last year and following its great success in raising thousands for the centre, which helps children with cerebral palsy, the decision was made to continue the colourful event this year.
There will be a whole host of events taking place throughout the day including a traffic-stopping rainbow conga through Southampton High Street.
As well as hopes to raise more than £10,000 for the centre, the day also aims to raise the awareness of National Conductive Education Awareness Week, which is the system of learning used with the children.
Conductive learning helps with motor disorders, aiming to improve motor skills and function but also affect development. For more information on how to get involved call 01329 289599.
