SOUTHAMPTON will be home to a new cycling hub this weekend.

The rideride Cycle Workshop will be setting up shop in Bitterne Park Triangle, offering people across the city expert advice and repairs.

The group is already known in the cycling community for helping with the Bike Doctor Scheme through My Journey Southampton, travelling to schools, businesses and parks to help repair bikes for free.

Now they will have a permanent base in the city and are inviting people to come and celebrate with them at the official opening today.

There will be live music, food and a chance to socialise all day at the shop in Manor Farm Road.
