EMERGENCY services rushed to aid a pedestrian after a bus crash in the city centre.
A First bus hit a pedestrian outside the Southampton Central Library at the civic centre at around 9.40am and police and ambulance were on scene.
A Hampshire Police spokesman said the person's injuries did not appear serious but was not able to provide more information at this time.
South Central Ambulance Service said it sent an ambulance and one rapid response vehicle to the scene and assessed and treated a woman believed to be in her late teens for minor leg injuries.
She was taken to Southampton General Hospital for further treatment.
A spokeswoman for First said: “We're aware of it and we're cooperating with the police and conducting our own investigation.”
She said at this stage she did not believe other bus services would be affected.
