A TEAM of intrepid ladies from a Hampshire school braved the darkness to complete a power walk under the stars.
Staff from Forres Sandle Manor School, in Fordingbridge, put their best feet forward for the London Moonwalk in aid of Breast Cancer Research.
Nicknamed the Ladies of the Manor and led by Robina Upton, head of the Middle School, the team were overwhelmed by the support they have had, raising a magnificent £4,000 for the charity.
Mrs Upton said: “This is a cause that is very close to our hearts. We, unfortunately, all have friends and family that have been affected by this dreadful disease, walking 15 miles at midnight is nothing compared to the trauma that breast cancer patients and their families have to endure.”
