Scores of cyclists have been streaking this evening through Southampton for a cheeky cause.

Nearly 100 bikers have stripped off for the city's annual naked bike ride.

The scantily-clad convoy set off from the junction of Omdurman Road and Highfield Road with their rides adorned with flags and posters and donning brightly coloured wigs.

The six mile route takes them through Portswood, Beovois Valley and the city centre before returning to the park via The Avenue.

They are highlighting road safety and environmental issues by showing motorists and passers by how vulnerable and cyclists are and how riding is more natural for the environment.
