RAIL passengers heading to London from Hampshire face lengthy delays after a lorry hit a bridge near Waterloo station.
The collision occurred between Waterloo and Clapham Junction and means all trains are running at reduced speed.
Trains may be delayed by up to 40 minutes and disruption is expected to continue until 3pm.
A spokesman for South West Trains said: “A road vehicle has struck a railway bridge in the Vauxhall area. This means that trains have to run at a much slower speed over the affected bridge, on all lines.”
Most tickets will be valid for other rail operators and up-to-date information can be found at journeycheck.southwesttrains.co.uk.
