MORE than 60 archers are set to converge on the Hampshire countryside for an annual archery contest.
The 53rd Merdon Arrow tournament, taking place on Sunday, will feature traditional English longbows, competition recurve bows and technical compound bows.
The event, organised by the Merdon Bowmen, is being held at the club's grounds next to the Hampshire Bowman pub in Dundridge Lane, Bishop's Waltham.
The competition starts at 11am and runs until 5pm.
