A RUGBY derby match was dramatically abandoned after the referee was allegedly caught up in a fight between the teams.
Players and spectators were stunned when official Phil Crossley, from the Dorset and Wiltshire RFU, called an end to the London 3 South West game at Stoneham Lane after only 15 minutes.
Crossley walked off after getting caught up in a shoving match involving players from both Trojans and Eastleigh.
Crossley declined to comment after the game yesterday.
