Hundreds affected by power cut
A POWER cut affected hundreds of residents in Hampshire.
Eastleigh was hit by a loss of power which struck at around 1.30pm.
Earlier today 1,158 homes and businesses such as the Swan Centre were affected by the power cut.
The Vue cinema was also forced to close due to the power cut with showings cut short despite power being restored to the affected area.
The Swan Centre had confirmed that it was being affected by continual short 10 to 15 second power cuts every 15 minutes, but remained open.
Scottish and Southern Energy apologised for the fault.
