A MOTORCYCLIST was injured in a collision on a city road.
Police were called to an incident on Bursledon Road, between Bath Road and Bursledon police station, at 11.08am today.
A motorcyclist and a car collided, with the male driver of the bike being cared for at the scene by paramedics for minor injuries.
The incident caused delays to traffic on the main road for up to an hour, but officers had the road cleared by 12.30pm.
The driver of the car was unharmed and the flow of traffic was back to normal just before 12.45pm.
