A RAINBOW flag will be flown over the University of Southampton to mark LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) History Month.
The flag will fly outside Hartley Library at the Highfield campus until Saturday February 27, to show the University’s commitment to the LGBT members of its community.
The University is also hosting several events for LGBT History month, including the LGBT Staff Network hosting a free private screening of the film Credence, which will be presented by the director Mike Buonaiuto on Friday February 26 February at 6pm in the Nuffield Theatre.
The LGBT Staff Network and the Students’ Union LGBT+ Society will also be attending Hampshire Pride on Saturday February 27 in Winchester.
