ONE of the main roads into Southampton city centre was shut today after a man fell out of a second storey window.
Police closed Onslow Road in Bevois Valley to allow emergency services to get to the scene and help the casualty.
It was shut in both directions from Dorset Street to Mount Pleasant Road at 11.06am and re-opened at 12.45pm.
A police spokesman said it had been a "medical incident". There were no suspicious circumstances and there is no police investigation, he added.
The ambulance service was called at 11.12am, and they sent a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance.
A man was treated for what were possibleback injuries and he was taken to Southampton General Hospital.
