FIREFIGHTERS were called out to rescue a baby that had become trapped in a flat in Southampton.
A crew from St Mary's fire station was called out this morning to reports that the baby was locked in a flat in Darwin Road.
Hampshire fire and rescue said: “We received a call at 11:57 to say that a baby had been locked in a building when the door shut behind the mum.
"One engine and two support vehicles from St Mary’s were sent to Darwin Road, we received a message to say that the incident was resolved at 12:09.”
