HUNDREDS of people enjoyed the sunshine at Bishop’s Waltham Carnival yesterday.
The procession attracted crowds who lined the streets in extravagant costumes.
The day saw people enjoy stalls and the procession included Trigger the Train, which carried residents around the town.
People also enjoyed a motorcade of classic cars which preceded the carnival and also enjoyed music by drum band Batala.
Organiser of the procession Mike Berry said the event was resounding success.
Mr Berry said: “It was a fantastic success we had many more stands around the place then we had in the past we had many people coming along there was a playbus and there was a lot of people doing something all the time, there was various arena events and a canine ability display.”
The procession started at Station Road before moving past the Crown pub, onto the High Street and finishing at Hoe Road Recreation Ground.
