MOTORISTS faced lengthy delays after a vehicle broke down on a Hampshire motorway.
Traffic on the M27 westbound was building westbound after the incident, which happened at about 8am between junction 11 and 12 near Portchester.
One lane of the carriageway was blocked and there were delays as far east as Havant on the M27 and as far north as Waterlooville on the A3M.
UPDATE 9am: The vehicle has been recovered and traffic is returning to normal.
