SOUTHAMPTON'S potential future stars turned out to audition for a TV talent show.
The Britain's Got Talent crew set up shop at the WestQuay Centre to scout the city's drama, singing and gymnastics groups.
They recorded the musicians and acts auditioning and narrow the selection down ready to pitch to the producers back in London.
This week is the first of the two week south coast - the crew will go on to Portsmouth, Isle of Wight, Brighton, Weymouth and Poole.
Crew member Hannah Miller said: "This is the first time we've done it like this - you don't know what to expect. You could get someone like Susan Boyle.
"When we do the showcases we sort of know what we're going to get but with this we're hoping we get some more unusual and unexpected talents. We had a belly-roller the other day."
Adele and Justin Bieber are this year's favourite covers.
